Amount

Participants will receive a $6,000 stipend and additional funding is available for research expenses. 

Description

The History Lab at Columbia University is accepting applications for a summer workshop focused on the COVID-19 Archive. The database includes almost 200,000 pages of records related to the government response to Covid-19 obtained through Freedom of Information Act requests. Participants will help take stock of archival efforts to date, conduct exploratory research, and help identify priorities for long-term preservation. Participants will be in-person from June 5-16 before conducting interviews and convening again August 31-September 1.
