Open to undergraduate students in the United States.
Fellows receive a $2,000 stipend distributed throughout the academic year. Fellows should expect to dedicate 10-15 hours/week to their project.
The Rachel Carson Council Fellowship Program is designed to identify outstanding students with a passion for environmental education, organizing, and advocacy and provide them with financial support to carry out valuable projects and campaigns. Students propose their own projects that are focused on sustainability and environmental justice to be carried out on their campuses and in their communities. Fellows will attend the American Environmental Leadership Institute in July 2022 before working on their projects over the 2022-2023 academic year with support from Council staff.
