Call for Applications: Public Outreach Fellowship in Religion and Climate Change, Columbia University

January 18, 2022

Eligibility

Open to Columbia University PhD students.

Amount

The fellowship comes with a stipend of $10,000 as well as a dedicated budget for the proposed outreach activities.

Description

The Institute for Religion, Culture, and Public Life is seeking applications for up to two Public Outreach Fellowship positions. Each fellow will be expected to develop a discrete body programming or related activities that contribute to and expand upon the intellectual life and public outreach of the Institute. The public outreach for these fellowships will be connected to the Institute’s initiative on “Religion and Climate Change.” This initiative is driven by the increasing recognition that we cannot fully understand or adequately address the history and future course of climate change without taking account of “religion,” broadly conceived. Time dedicated to the fellowship may vary, but the expectation is an average of one day per week.
