The principal investigator must be a scholar in the humanities or interpretative social sciences and be affiliated with an American university that will administer the funds.
Awards range from $50,000-$100,000.
The American Council of Learned Societies is accepting applications for Digital Justice Development Grants to begin between July 1-December 31, 2024. The project should engage with the interests and histories of people of color and other historically marginalized communities; explore or experiment with new materials, methodologies, and research agendas; cultivate greater openness to new sources of knowledge; or engage in capacity building efforts. Projects should have already advanced beyond the proof-of-concept stage.
