Open to faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students.
Amount
The tenured and tenure-track faculty attendance fee is $450. The cost for graduate students, postdoctoral scholars, and contingent faculty is $250. Fees cover registration, accommodations, and two dinners.
Description
The Colby Summer Institute in Environmental Humanities gathers scholars from around the globe to collectively explore how the environmental humanities contribute to the theorization, imagination, and practice of socially just and ecologically hopeful futures for humans and nonhumans. The Institute will run from August 1-7, 2022 in Waterville, Maine and include seminars, lectures, workshops, field trips, and other events.
