Notably, Brazil has surged ahead with more than 50 climate litigation cases, firmly establishing itself as the foremost jurisdiction in the Global South in terms of case numbers. The significance of recent rulings underscores Brazil's emergence as a jurisdiction of notable importance. The event will provide a platform to delve into both the current landscape and future prospects pertaining to socio-environmental and climate litigation.
