Event Description: 

Since her advocacy and leadership on behalf of airline workers during the recent federal government shutdown, Sara Nelson has emerged as a bracing voice in organized labor and progressive politics. In this talk, Nelson, President of the Association of Flight Attendants, will discuss the renewal of labor politics and how it can be channeled into a more egalitarian and progressive agenda.
