Esteban Calvo is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Epidemiology at the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, affiliated faculty at the Robert N. Butler Columbia Aging Center, and Director of the Center for Public Policy Research at Universidad Mayor, Chile. Previously, he was an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Universidad Catolica, Chile, and served as a consultant for Harvard University, the United Nations, and the Government of Chile. His research interests include aging and the lifecourse, social epidemiology, public policy, subjective well-being, and quantitative methods.
