Bei Wu, PhD, co-director of the NYU Aging Incubator
Oral health disparity reflects some of the greatest challenges in the U.S. This presentation provides an overview of oral health disparity in older adults across regions, race/ethnicity, and socioeconomic status. These findings were generated from several national epidemiological surveys. Dental care and oral health are strongly correlated. This presentation also presents findings on dental care utilization among several Asian immigrant populations in the U.S.
